My Initial Response

   When the diagnosis came in I wasn’t surprised as I had felt all along that it was what it was but the results of the biopsy did make it official. It took a few days to settle in and then it hit. Knowing only what I knew then about cancer, it looked bleak.

 

My solution, wander back and forth from the couch to the bed, sleep, accept and prepare.

 

    I did not accept that I had little time due only to statistics, and my understanding of cancer, there were other reasons as well
