The Routine

As I were to learn, when you have an invasive type surgery, blood tests and routine chest X-rays are in order. This is done as a precaution and even though disclaimers rule the paperwork, all medical persons involved in a procedure understand their liability if they perform elective surgery on a patient who has a life threatening problem. I was in fact scheduled for and had my pre-op X-ray on 4/7/04 for a disectomy on C-5/C-6 cervical disks

The day following my pre-op workup I received a phone call from the scheduling nurse and the bombshell is dropped,

I quickly drew a connection between my arm and hip to the tumor in my lung, however

I am in the middle of a busy intersections with vehicles on all sides locking up their brakes, I don’t know where I am at.
